# NotesDive 0.7.0 — macOS Apple Silicon

- Open several local folders and switch between them from Home. NotesDive remembers the folders and shows recent notes and open tasks for the active one.
- Read and edit Markdown visually or in source mode, with direct disk storage, autosave, conflict protection, search and filesystem updates.
- Collect Markdown checkboxes in the grouped Todos view, filter or search them, and check tasks off in their original files.
- Browse Markdown, PDF, SVG, PNG and JPEG files together. PDFs have page navigation and zoom; PDFs and images remain read-only.
- Files and Todos now use compact two-row headers so more of the list and viewer fit on screen.
- The new snorkel-and-mask icon gives NotesDive a more playful identity.

NotesDive runs locally without an account, cloud service or database. This is an early macOS Apple Silicon preview. The app is not signed with a developer certificate or notarized; Windows and Linux downloads are not available yet. The PDF and image viewer supports files up to 50 MiB, and password-protected PDFs may not open. PDF rendering uses PDF.js under the Apache 2.0 license; third-party notices are included with the app.
